And speedy delivery to boot. We are very pleased with the delivery and quality of the box of nails. They were in their original box and perfect.
The plastic holding them together is lite weight and just junk. these are the junkists nails. They were all broken up in the box and you can buy the nails for 1/2 the price any where.
1/32 longer than 3 1/2 inches. I called Amazon and there response was fantastic. As a matter of fact they are actually 3 17/32 in length. Basically the collated nails were dumped into another box. The actual product itself is very good.
I have ordered other sizes of collated nails before from Amazon and they arrived "as advertised" in their original carton and in good shape. Hopefully they were able to resolve the problem. Being that these nails are collated they can break apart if shipped loose, which is what happened. They wanted to investigate what the shipping problem was before shipping any more. The way it was packaged and delivered was not in the original carton. This time when I called Amazon they would not reship the product but did give me my money back. "in the original carton". Unfortunately, the second box arrived in the same condition as the first, re-packaged and severely damaged.
Contrary to another review I just read the nails are a full 3 1/2 inches in length. they immediately shipped another box, which arrived the next day. The outstanding part of this problem was the response I received from Amazon Customer Support. However, they did not ship as advertised. The first box arrived re-packaged and loose in "hand made brown cardboard" box.
It didn't. If they are 16D shorts, at least the packaging/advertising should say as much. Be aware that this product does not come as advertised. Nails measure only 3 3/8" including the head - and that's being generous.
All in all, a good full head nail. A good product, over 15,000 through a nail gun without a misfeed. They go in easy and hold.
